Free traditional library cards are available for anyone who owns property, lives, works or attends school in King Township. Simply bring a valid piece of indentification with name, photo and current address - click for a list of acceptable forms of identification.

KTPL cardholders have access to the following library systems as a result of negotiated reciprocal borrowing agreements: Aurora, Bradford West Gwillimbury,Caledon, East Gwillimbury, Georgina, Markham, Newmarket, New Tecumseth, Richmond Hill, Vaughan, Whitchurch-Stouffville.

Online registration - Click to register for an eLibrary Card. Once registered your eLibrary card will allow you access to our eContent only - eBooks, eAudiobooks, streaming and downloadable movies and TV shows and our databases. Patrons that wish to borrow from our physical collection will be required to convert their eLibrary card to a physical card by visiting one of our four branch locations.
